Hello all prospective families!

As this semester comes to a close, we are looking forward to the year ahead.

We are hosting our final test date on Monday, June 8th at 8:30am. The test will be administered at DLHS. The test starts promtly, so please be here a few minutes early to sign in.

Placement Test Date--April 20th, 5:30pm

Hello Prospective Families!

On Monday, April 20th, 2009 DLHS is hosting a Placement Test date for prospective students who have yet to take the test. The test begins at 5:30pm, but please arrive a few minutes early to sign in. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. 303-934-2345 ext. 3306

Christian School Expo Success

Last weekend, we attended the Colorado Christian School Expo hosted by Colorado Christian University. We had the opportunity to meet with many families from the Denver Metro area.
Radio station AM 91 was on site, and we were given the opportunity to interview with the station about the uniqueness of Denver Lutheran High.

Furthermore, last Saturday we hosted our first Placement Test of 2009. With 15 students signed up, it was a successful start to the 2009 year. If you would like to sign up for the February 7th test, please give us a call!

Second Annual Greater Denver Christian School Expo

On January 23rd and 24th, 2009 Colorado Christian University will be hosting the Greater Denver Christian School Expo. Various Christian schools, grade schools and above, will be present to answer questions. If you have questions about Denver Lutheran High School, please visit us either day. On January 23rd, the expo will begin at 6:00pm and conclude around 8:00pm. On Saturday, January 24th, the expo will take place in the morning beginning at 9:00am.

Bethlehem Open House

Attention all prospective families! On January 22, 2009 Bethlehem Lutheran School is hosting an open house from 4:00pm-7:00pm. Denver Lutheran High School will have a display booth and representative available for questions and to give out 2009-2010 admissions packets. Please join us for this informational evening.

This is a wonderful opportunity to begin looking into high school for next year. Not only will we have admission packets available, but also a sign up sheet for tours and meetings at the DLHS campus. Please contact me with any questions.

It's That Time of Year...

It's that time of year...to begin considering your plans for high school next fall. We are currently, and actively, providing tours and personalized meetings to discuss Denver Lutheran High School with you. If you are interested in DLHS, please email or call me to set up a tour and meet today.

Beginning in January, we will have Placement Test Dates regularly. Our first test date of the new year will be on January 24th at 8:00am-11:30am. Don't forget the cost is $20 for processing. Taking a Placement Test will ensure your student is placed correctly, and will begin your application process. Please contact me with any questions.

A Crazy Week Ahead!

This week DLHS is hosting the 5th/6th Grade Luncheon on Wednesday November 12th, 2008. Lunch will be served from 11:30am-12:00pm with the fall musical performance beginning at 12:00pm.

Don't forget to get a head start on next year's registration. If you are interested in touring the school, or shadowing a student, please contact me. Also, our Placement Tests will begin again in January. Be sure to get on the list for upcoming tests to ensure correct placement for the 2009 school year.

Thanksgiving is rapidly approaching! We hope you have a wonderful holiday, and thank God for family and the blessings he gives to us unconditionally.

5th/6th Grade Luncheon

Hello Prospective Students and Parents!
Next Wednesday, November 12th, we will be hosting our 5th/6th Grade Luncheon for our Lutheran grade schools in the area. Lunch will begin at 11:30am and conclude around 12:00pm. After lunch, students will enjoy watching our fall musical Godspell. The day will close around 2:30pm. We hope to see you there!

What's that I hear? The Luther Walk/Run's this Year?

This Friday (October 24th, 2008), as Sloan's Lake from 11:30-2:30, the Lutheran Walk/Run is happening. We will walk, or run, a 5k together, while talking about what God is doing in our school and our lives. Come join us for a time of fellowship and fun with faculty, staff, and students. If you want to participate, please meet us there at 11:30am. We would love to have you!

Also, this Saturday, October 25th, Colorado Christian University is hosting its annual Harvest Carnival from 12pm-4pm. Denver Lutheran High will be hosting a "shave the balloon" booth for the youth at the carnival. This event is a great way to get the community involved in a Christ-centered atmosphere during the Halloween season. Invite your friends and family, and join us this Saturday. There will be plenty of candy!
